Overview Section

Green Table Productions Project , a project within the three Computer Clubhouses of Miami, Florida will provide an opportunity for 90 youth from grades 7 – 12 to participate in hands-on learner-based exploration of film making, including video production, music production and graphic arts production. Students will work with adult mentors, staff and professionals in the three fields represented in an after-school setting over a period of two years to learn technical skills (high-end computer software), learn how to go about producing a film, including how the music and sound effects are produced, as well as the graphic arts materials necessary for promotion and advertisement. Their hands on learning will culminate in the team production of films with accompanying music/soundtrack and 2-D and 3-D graphics that is a result of their workshops, hands on learning, and group process.
